Percussive Arts Society Philippine Chapter Receives 2021 Outstanding Chapter Award – Manila Bulletin

The Percussive Arts Society (PAS) Philippine Chapter recently received the 2021 Outstanding Chapter Award from the World’s Largest Percussive Organization PAS at the PAS International Convention in the USA.

PAS Philippine Chapter, a small organization, has had a significant impact on the drumming and percussion community around the world, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic when the music industry was heavily impacted.

According to Saturnino Tiamson Jr, President of PAS Philippine Chapter, the award sums up their hard work and relates to their dedication and passion for music.

“This award would not have been possible without the contribution of each of our members, guest artists, followers and supporters and of course my fellow officers. As a team, we dedicate this award to all our fellow and future Filipino drummers and percussionists, Filipino musicians, and all PAS members around the world,” he said.

The band is committed to continuing to inspire, educate and support percussionists and drummers around the world.
