The Strand celebrates with a caffeine fix
EAST VILLAGE, NY, June 25, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — About Saturday June 25e the Strand Book Store will celebrate its 95th anniversarye year as the largest independent bookstore in New York City. Nestled in the heart of the Village, the Strand Bookstore has brought together some of the greatest literary leaders, artists and bohemian types for almost a century. The landscape of the village has changed over the decades, from Beatniks to millennia, and streets that were once filled with gas-powered cars have now been replaced by electric cars and bikes.
