The Edo State Government has started the assessment and evaluation exercise for the promotion of workers in the state civil and civil service.

Edo State Chief of Staff, Anthony Okungbowa Esq., who revealed this to reporters in Benin City during a training/assessment exercise for workers, said the government is committed pursue reforms in the civil and civil service to improve optimal service delivery. .

Okungbowa said the administration under Governor Godwin Obaseki will continue its efforts to re-equip workers with the skills and knowledge needed to provide quality service to Edo residents.

He further revealed that Governor Obaseki had previously granted his approval for the 2020 and 2021 promotions to ensure that all pending promotions are cleared, thus ensuring that promotion in public and civil service is done at the right time. .

Resource people were on the ground to provide the participants from levels 07 to 16 likely to be promoted with information aimed at helping them deepen their understanding of the standards of the service and the new ways of working in the service, in order to improve efficiency. and productivity.
