AC Business Media (ACBM), a leading business-to-business media company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Marina Mayer to Chief Content Officer for the entire ACBM organization. Having worked in B2B publishing for the past 19 years, Mayer has a unique skill set to cultivate an operational content process to increase efficiency and productivity of both legacy print material and advanced multimedia digital content.

Reporting to ACBM Managing Director Ron Spink, Mayer will be responsible for leading ACBM’s editorial team toward next-generation product solutions and robust enhancements to print, online, event and personalized platforms. In addition to her new cross-brand management position, Mayer will retain her current role as editor of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, ACBM-owned supply chain publications.

At ACBM, Mayer has already achieved great success in establishing editorial leadership; assign, verify and execute content; present at industry conferences; work alongside design, production, marketing and sales to help execute revenue-generating opportunities; keep abreast of industry trends and technologies; and produce year-over-year growth.

During his career, Mayer received an honorary mention of the TABPI awards from the Trade Association Business International for his article “Post-Pandemic Grocery Shopping” for Food Logistics; increased the number of e-newsletter subscribers and online website traffic; was named an ASBPE Young Leader by the American Society of Business Publication Editors’ Scholarship Program; and was named Director of the Year while serving as Quality Control Editor at Manufacturers’ News, Inc in 2006.

Coupled with Mayer’s internal promotion, ACBM is thrilled to announce the new hire of Sarah Webb as Managing Editor of Green Industry Pros and Rental magazine. Webb recently came to ACBM from North Coast Media, where she had served as managing editor of Landscape Management, Golfdom and Athletic Turf properties since 2017.

In his current role, Webb will be responsible for overseeing the print and digital components of Green Industry Pros and Rental magazine. With Webb’s background in B2B publishing, she’s the right fit for the job – demonstrating an eye for revitalization and the demand for new industry-specific content.
