Queanbeyan Arts Society, 6 Trinculo Place, Queanbeyan NSW 2620
April 24, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Saturday is the day to come and buy beautiful handcrafted textile works. Our community has worked hard to create unique, beautiful and affordable items to sell. ACT Textile Arts Society (ACTTAA) is a community of artisan artists who make items with wool, fabric and paper. This Saturday we are selling newly made items such as decorated tea towels, knitted clothes, iPad covers, pin cushions, handmade cards, 3D printed jewelry and games.
Everything will be exhibited in the gardens of the gallery.
There will also be a plant sale.
For quilters we have a wide selection of fat quarters and quilting books while weavers will love woven fabric products made into bags.
Mother’s Day is coming soon, so be sure to pop in for the perfect gift.
The members of ACTTAA are keen to greet you and also to introduce you to this community group.
Perhaps you are a collector of textile know-how or a lover of textile arts of all kinds?
The ACT Textile Arts Association is an enthusiastic group of textile artists and hobbyists who come together to share creative endeavors through monthly meetings, skill-sharing days and workshops.
Through craftsmanship, creativity, community, connection and contribution. Maybe these words will connect with you and your love of creation and making.
